Our planned use of AI has a clear purpose: to support a learner within a Learning Unit, not to provide unrestricted chat.
Clear boundaries
Zippy Panda is not intended to be an unrestricted general-purpose chatbot for children. The future assistant will operate within Learning Unit context.
Question and verify
AI can make mistakes. Learners should be encouraged to question claims, check information and recognise when an answer may be uncertain.
Age-appropriate design
We intend to consider language, interaction patterns and subject depth for the learner’s age, and to review those choices as the product develops.
Privacy principles
We aim to collect only information that is needed, explain why it is used and avoid advertising-led learning. Product-specific practices will be documented before relevant features launch.
Honest limitations
No digital experience can promise perfect accuracy or eliminate every risk. We will communicate limitations plainly and keep reviewing the safeguards around future AI features.
Current status
The public website contains no AI assistant. Learning Units, learner accounts and AI features have not been implemented.
