1. Information used
Parent accounts use parent contact and location details for account administration and secure magic-link authentication. A learner profile contains a parent-provided first name or nickname, age and Grade, together with internal identifiers and system timestamps.
2. Learning activity
Zippy Panda saves learner-scoped questions, conversations, Learning Unit activity, quiz attempts and grounded Learning Summaries so the experience can be continued. Parent feedback is stored separately from learner learning evidence.
3. AI processing
Relevant age, Grade, Subject, Learning Unit content and learner questions may be sent to the configured AI provider. Parent contact details and raw AI credentials are not included in model prompts. Provider retention and processing terms require review before production.
4. Security and sessions
Magic links are one-use, short-lived and stored as hashes. Sessions use secure server-side records and HTTP-only cookies. No system can promise perfect security.
5. Retention and rights
Production retention, deletion and parent-access procedures must be approved before launch. Configuration exists so these policies do not need to be permanently embedded in product logic.
6. Advertising
Zippy Panda does not contain advertising or sell learner information.
7. Contact and review
A working privacy contact method, applicable children’s-privacy basis and jurisdiction-specific notices must be completed before launch.
